CO-VID-19 is the virus that finally brought us all together. Everyone in oneness thinking of ways to end this pandemic.

The eruption of fears has triggered a lot of emotions for everyone. It seems everyone is called to rise up including our children.

It feels like we are all in the hunger game, the collective fear is at its peak. Through it all, this is the time for us to stick together.

Today at the supermarket, I saw my neighbor Margret walking down the aisle with an empty trolley. “It’s 1 pm,” she said, “why are all the aisles empty?”

She has missed the main news. I took her home, made her a sandwich and promised I’ll be at her home first thing in the morning to help her with her shopping. It took me less than 30mins and she has enough food to last her a week.

We are all in this together, let’s drop the individualism for oneness. Let’s use this moment in time to elevate, to rise and unify.

Here are a few ways that I have used to support myself through this journey and I trust they will also this be supportive to you too.

  1. Sound Your Emotions and move all Felt-Sense

Moment to moment, as you feel uneasiness in your body. I want to invite you to sound what you are feeling. Inhale to get the felt sense and exhale the felt sense in your heart. Sometimes you will feel softness or subtle emotions, other times it’s will be a rumbling effect.

2. Awakening Breathe

Relaxing your jaw, breathe in and out of your mouth without any pauses in between the inhalation and exhalation. Keeping your awareness on your womb connecting to your felt sense.

3. Dance with the Shadows

Put on some music and dance with the fear you are feeling inside of your body, mind, and spirit. When we don’t move chaos energy, it’s stored in our bodies and nervous system as anxiety, stress and chronic tension.

4. Breast Massage

Use breast massage to move the emotional or energetic sensations you are feeling in your heart.  It’s a profoundly nourishing way to allow your body to return to a state of comfort and love.

5. Releasing Stress in the Body

Standing with your feet hip wide apart, slightly bending your knees, I want to invite you to shake out how you are feeling energetically in your body but be careful not to hurt yourself. When you give yourself permission to heal through the body it moves.

6. Ritual Bath

Run a bath with some Epsom salts and rose essential oil, light some beautiful candles, and play soothing music. Relax for 5-15 minutes then say this prayer as many times as you want. I’m sorry; please, forgive me, I love you. Thank you. What do you need right now? When you are done with your bath, lather yourself lovingly with almond oil.

7. Anchoring into Love, Safety, and Belonging

Start asking yourself, where you do you feel love, safety and a sense of belonging in your body, feel into the sensations you are feeling and allow them to buildup strongly. If you can’t feel this at the moment ask yourself when was the last time you felt these feelings this in the past? Then gently let these sensations slowly build up.

8. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

9. Hydrate with a lot of water and drink infused tea.

10. Sleep. Get enough rest

11. Stay active. There are loads of practices on YouTube you can indulge in.

12. Eat fruit and vegetables to keep your immune system strong

13: Less news and more family muse

14. Sisterhood. Continue to connect with family and friends. Check-in with your elders and see if they are OK, especially those at risk.

15. Pray in togetherness.
